ATTENTION TO PARADE!
CITATION FOR THE EXAMPLARY AND HONORABLE SERVICE COMMENDATIONS
LIEUTENANT GENERAL DOUGLAS SHAW
Lieutenant General Douglas Shaw, is hereby awarded the Union Army's Examplary and Honorable Service Medals and Ribbons, for his very satisfactory and steady service as Commander of the Union Army XX ("The Ghosts") Corps. General Shaw unhesitatingly and firmly accepted the command of this corps within the Union Army of the Cumberland, exerting his energies and focus in raising the both the levels of responsiveness and activity within the organization. His dedicated and unswerving attention demonstrated once again the leadership hall marks for which the AotC is noted and his own, very straightforward character. This was the General Shaw's first tour as a Union Army Corps Commander, his fourth, very well earned ESM, and second HSM!
